Bright Star is intended to be the launch point for the Age of Magic Series and follows teenager Solana Reyes a year after losing her best friend to a tragic accident. Struggling to come to terms with her loss, she discovers that her missing father might be alive and sets out to find him. Accompanied by her brother and two unexpected friends, they venture to her ancestral homeland of Myara and find themselves caught up in something bigger than they could have ever imagined. Bright Star is a story about grief, finding family, and finding the will to keep on going even when things get hard.
